There was a correct guess from my last post with three clues as to where in the world Chris and I are venturing. In a little over a week, Chris and I are headed to beautiful Peru to see the ancient Incan ruins in Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. It is a lifelong dream to visit these amazing archeological wonders of the world.

I will prove that visiting Peru is indeed a lifelong dream of mine. A few months ago, I ventured under my house in search of my Penny Powers Mystery stories I wrote during recesses when I was 11-years-old (nerd alert). In a box deep I found deep under my house were the mystery stories, as well as a project I did in school in 6th grade called Facts About Peru. I illustrated the front cover with my best rendition of a South American woman standing in front of majestic mountains. Inside my book was an essay I wrote on Peru, as well as hand-written maps and topography patterns.
Yes my teacher Mrs. Kennedy did give me an “A” on that project. Winning.
While I plan on documenting this journey through the middle of Peru by typing my experiences on my MacAir, Chris is bringing his camera and will be documenting the visual aspect. He even bought a special camera backpack so he can bring his Nikon wherever he goes while in Peru.
I hope you will join us on this journey, because it promises to be filled with history, adventure and culture.
Until next time, the mothership is signing off.
