Ava-ism

February 18, 2013

At 7am yesterday Ava was downstairs and ready to paint nails and play outside.  She had her nail polish lined up and her manicure studio set-up.  By 7:30am Ava was ready for her next activity.  It is like this all day.  Everyday.  So when people ask me to enjoy my four-day weekend (as in, no school), I am mentally sending you daggers.

So by 1:30pm I couldn’t take it anymore.  I told Ava that she was being too wild.  It went like this:

Me: Ava I really need you to calm down and stop being so rambunctious.

Ava: I’m sorry mom, but I was born to be loud.

Me: Yes, but your loud behavior disrupts my inner peace.

Ava: Mom, I was born with crazy and you were born with peace.  I’m sorry about that.

Speechless.  Defeated.  You can’t argue with crazy.

Until next time, the mothership is signing off.

What a fun kid and an awesome picture. Her hair is amazing (but I wouldn’t want to comb cray either!)
