NFL Week 10 live updates: Chiefs stay undefeated, scores, news, highlights, standings, injuries, takeaways

Starting rookie left tackle Tyler Guyton is inactive for the Cowboys after being limited in practice all week with a neck/shoulder injury designation. This will be Guyton’s second game in which he doesn’t play. Earlier this season, Guyton was active but was injured and did not play. The Cowboys have a few different options to fill the void at left tackle. Earlier this season, they kicked left guard Tyler Smith out to the edge and played TJ Bass at left guard. However, head coach Mike McCarthy has expressed a reluctance to change multiple positions to fill the void of one, and especially so in moving Smith, who is great anywhere on the line but prolific at his natural position of left guard. When Guyton missed some snaps last week, the Cowboys slid Asim Richards in his place at left tackle. Chuma Edoga, who began the season on injured reserve, is still not back on the active roster.

In other inactive news, newly acquired wide receiver Jonathan Mingo is inactive, as expected, after he was acquired on Tuesday at the trade deadline. It was clear the Cowboys were trending in that direction of taking it slow with Mingo when they called up wide receiver Jalen Cropper from the practice squad on Saturday.

Aside from that, Dak Prescott and DaRon Bland are injured and inactive. The Cowboys do not have a third emergency quarterback this week, as Trey Lance is the backup.
