It’s also weather-resistant, but if you want to use it outdoors you’ll need to buy the version with a weather-resistant adapter ($30 on Prime Day sale) to use it safely. However, for features like person detection, live view recording, video sharing, and cloud recording with a 60-day video history, you’ll need a subscription.

It’s also petite and fits into an outlet without blocking the other outlet. This pack also comes with four plugs.

This is a stunning Edison-style bulb that works via Bluetooth or a Philips Hue Bridge ($60). That way, you can control it remotely or set up a hub to control it from a distance and also set up automated routines. It doesn’t change colors like other smart blurbs, but you can adjust the brightness.

If you’re shopping for headphones for your kids, it’s important to make sure they’re volume-limited so they don’t damage their hearing. The Altec Lansing’s are limited to 85 decibels but also come with active noise cancellation to block out background noise.
